Gothic Art
Gothic Art was developed in Northern France in the 12th century. During this period of time art stepped away from the bright colors and used more of the different shades of blacks, browns and greys. The gothic art had more of a darker theme. This included the use of different shadows and lightings, often times they used symmetry for this darker pieces of art.
